Hope Art Therapy in Peterborough, ON, is where Penny works under Dr. Pati Beaudoin (Registered Psychologist) to support people of all backgrounds. As a professional art therapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, experience working as a Psycho-educational Consultant with a local school board and a multi-modal approach, Penny provides a safe, supportive space for individuals, couples and families working towards improved mental health. She walks next to her clients, respecting their unique needs and pace. She will not find answers for you but will hold you in a safe space while you do your own work and find your own way forward.
Penny believes that every single person is capable of personal growth both individually and in relationship with others. In a world where there is an overload of sensory input through the internet and social media many of us struggle to find moments of peaceful connection. Self-care and a developing understanding that we can each increase our level of mental health no matter what we are managing in life is very important.
